I've got a confession to make: I'm head over heels for dogs, and if you catch me on a roll, you'll find me sprinting like the wind. But guess what? These days, I'm having an absolute blast connecting with awesome dog enthusiasts who also have a thing for pounding the pavement in Denver Dog Joggers. Believe it or not, I kicked off this whole adventure back in 2010, and since then, I've racked up a whopping 20,000+ miles with my furry companions right by my side. Yep, you heard that right – I'm basically living the dream!

Let me spill the beans – there's simply no better way for me to clock in those working hours. I've gotta tell you, my mind is blown time and again by the fantastic folks on our team. The way they shower our four-legged clients with oodles of love and care? It's like watching a magical show, and I sometimes think I'm the luckiest person in Denver just for getting to be a part of it.

Can we take a moment to give props to the remarkable members of our crew? Seriously, they've taken the reins and gone above and beyond the call of duty – it's like they've made their job titles their very own superhero capes. And let me tell you, I'm over the moon about the fact that we've got such outstanding Team Members here at DDJ. Remember that old saying about success coming from hanging out with the cream of the crop? Well, it's as true as ever, and I'm reminded of it every single day.

Honestly, if you had asked me back in the day, I never would've guessed that this little venture of mine would blossom into what it is now. And here I am, bouncing with excitement to meet your precious pooch and introduce you to the rockstar Team Members who keep our tails wagging. Let's make some pawsitively awesome memories together! 🐾

Hi, I was born and raised in Chicago, graduated from the University of Kentucky, raised my twin daughters in Pittsburgh and then moved to Denver 5 years ago… I’m here to stay! My love of running started at 10 years old when I joined my Dad on a short run, from there I was hooked! I ran cross country and track in HS and over the past 30 years have great memories from 5Ks to marathons run throughout the US.

I joined DDJ in June of 2018 and have found such joy running, walking and getting to know our amazing canine clients. My role has changed to now include working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly and safely for our clients and hard working team members.

In my free time I enjoy golfing, doing DIY projects in my home, spending time with my daughters and my pups, Sam and Sydney, playing chess and pet sitting in my home. I’m looking forward to many more years being a part of the DDJ Team!

Hi, I originally hail from Connecticut where I grew up playing field hockey and lacrosse. I continued my athletic career in college in Ohio but once I graduated, I moved to a more sunny Colorado and never looked back. Once my team sports days were over, I turned my focus to simply running which eventually led to racing. I have competed in 5ks to marathons and sprint triathlons to an Ironman. Since the day I was born, I have always had the privilege of having a black Labrador by my side. Dogs are such special companions and to be able to combine my love of running along with a furry friend is hard to beat. Thank you for entrusting your special canine friend with DDJ. I always look forward to our time together.

Hey! My name is Karlee. I grew up and lived in Maryland all my life until 2 years ago when I made the move out to the beautiful state of Colorado. My favorite weekend activity is going hiking or going for a walk or roller blading around the big parks in Denver. I have been a sports gal since I was little and played various sports throughout my life. One thing they all had in common was lots of RUNNING up and down the field/court. I’m thankful to be able to run as much as I do today AND now it’s even better that I spend a few hours a week running with amazing pups! I have my own pup named Lazer who is a sweet 1.5year old Weimaraner who loves relaxing, going on walks, weekend adventures to the mountains and most importantly loves frozen blueberries. I treat each and every DDJ pup I run and walk like my own and always create a positive experience for them by giving lots of pets and encouragement. Seeing the pups sitting at the door with big smiles waiting to be walked or ran is really something special. It instantly makes me grateful for the opportunity to work at DDJ because I know how stoked the pups are to get outside and simply enjoy the great outdoors! I cannot wait to meet you and your pups!

Hi! I'm John, and grew up in Colorado running xc & track. My home life was spent with Goldens/ Labs and Huskies. My love for running and dogs has stuck with me over the years and has impacted with great positivity. Time outside with furry friends makes life so much better, and knowing I can help improve other dog owners experience with their pets is amazing! Aside from running, I like to spend time at Wash Park with my dog Bandit (a jack-chi mixed breed), road tripping, cooking, drawing, napping poolside, and writing. Hi I’m Jerry I’m originally from NJ but I’ve lived in Colorado for over 20 years now. Love that Colorado lifestyle! I’ve been working for Denver Dog Joggers since July 2015 and it’s just been such a great fit for me! I love working with all our wonderful four legged clients to ensure that they’re having fun and getting some good exercise. When I’m not running your pups I like to run Marathons. As a matter of fact I like them so much I’ve run 1 in all 50 States. I finished that goal in January 2016 and I’m still going strong. I look forward to giving your pup a fun great workout!

I love dogs and I love running, and I'm so happy to be part of the DDJ team! Originally from Montana, I've called the Denver area home for 18 years. I spent 12 years working in nonprofit fundraising here, then my husband and I and our four kids moved to Liberia, West Africa, in the fall of 2016. (Yes, I ran there, but it was in circles on a soccer field in very high humidity.) I've always enjoyed running - setting goals, training hard, and reaching those goals, regardless of whether it's a 5k or a marathon! Now that we have returned to Colorado, I feel fortunate to have a job where I can be outside, spend time with your friendly, four-legged furballs, and explore Denver's streets and trails. Hi there! My name is Clare. I work in the non profit/ social justice space here in Denver and am an avid runner and hiker in my free time. I grew up an outdoorsy kid in small-town rural Indiana, spending my summers taking our family dogs Emma & Basil to a nearby lake. I started running casually in the spring semester of my senior year at Ithaca College in Upstate New York. I then moved to Colorado Springs where I fell in love with the mountain west and trail running. This is also when I started backpacking more regularly and in Spring 2022, I quit my job to go hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. When I got back, I moved in with my partner in Denver and our chunky cat Nug. I am excited to log some miles with your pups!

Now I get to escape the studio and help get your pups some exercise! I am currently training for a 50-mile race and running with your awesome dogs has become the most enjoyable aspect of my training. Heya! I'm Anthony, and I'm excited to keep your four-legged family member happy and healthy! I have an extra inclination for health and fitness being a fitness instructor, acrobat, athlete and sports nutrition student. I'm currently in a volleyball league and training in circus specialties. I played soccer for the University of West Florida (way down in the panhandle of FL). That's where I earned my B.S. in Pre-Professionally Biology. My ongoing goal is to spread love, joy, acceptance and understanding. My goal for 2023 is to run my first marathon. Your pup just might be my best coach! Stay happy and healthy, mind and body!

Hi there! I am a new Colorado resident, an animal lover, and an avid runner, and I could not be more thrilled to be working for DDJ! I’m an east coast native and just moved from NYC to Denver with my partner and cat. (Don’t worry, we are in the process of adopting a dog as I write this.) For the last 7 years, I taught high school history in NYC. I frequently finished my school day and immediately went running— with coworkers, by myself, or with a group of students— to share in the joy of movement and train for my upcoming races (including my first marathon in 2017).

I moved to Denver with the intention of spending time seeking and doing more of what I love, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to do just that. I can’t wait to share the trail with and care for your furry family members — it’s a privilege and a joy!

Hey there, my name is Geoff and I can't wait to meet your dogs! My entire life I've loved and cared for animals. I grew up on a horse farm where my family had a handful of horses, a pony, a dog and more cats than you can count! Since then I've accrued over five years of professional pet care experience. My love for running has been a lifelong affair, but really took off when I moved to Denver in 2016. In August 2021, I completed my first marathon in Aspen. Hi everyone! I’m Caitlin, a Behavioral Therapist who grew up here in Colorado! I have a German Shepard/Corgi mix named Kamona! She’s about 9 years old and loves to go hiking. She used to be the best runner but now she’s older and likes to take things slow. I also have a cat named Ducky who is being trained to walk on a leash and go hiking! She loves the outdoors and is a dog lover. In my free time I’m typically out and about hiking, running, camping, climbing, doing yoga, or paddle boarding. I’m so excited to meet all the amazing pups and give them all the love!

Hey! I’m Sophie, I’m from Boulder and went to the University of Miami where I got a bachelors degree in marine science and biology. I had planned to apply to Vet school so I’ve volunteered and worked as a vet assistant. I have also worked for a dog rescue, where I adopted my brindle best friend, Moose! Dogs and animals in general are one of my favorite parts of life, along with being an athlete, so it’s a joy to combine the two for work! Besides running dogs, I work as a Realtor, as I’ve always adored having and personalizing a living space to be my oasis from the outside world, so helping others find that dream is truly special! My husband Kevin and I live in Thornton where we purchased our first home earlier this year. Luckily that located me to be able to work for DDJ!

Hi everyone, I’m Chloe! Running became a love for me after college! I grew up being more of a couch potato than someone who enjoyed being active. I had many friends in college that were very active and it was a wake up call to turn around on the road I was going. I started running as an easy and cheap way to burn calories. And after a few runs a week I noticed how amazing and proud I felt after. Since college I’ve run 4 marathons, and over 15 half marathons. 

I’ve always had dogs growing up. And when I found myself moving back in with my parents trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life I’d get up every morning with our family’s dog Luna, a Siberian Husky, and we would go out for our run together. That time with her was so special. I remember how happy she was when I woke up, she always knew that it was time for a run. 

I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’m a Flight Attendant for Southwest Airlines, and because I travel so often it isn’t possible for me to have a dog right now. I’d love to spend time with your pups and get them some great exercise.

I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago where I ran cross country in high school, but my running really took off when a friend encouraged me to do a half marathon with her in Malibu in 2012. I’ve been running for fun and fitness ever since then! When I’m not taking your pups out for a walk, jog or run, I am at home running after my two toddler daughters, snuggling with our border collie Chilly, training for my next race, hiking, biking, reading and taking classes to support my current career transition.
