Our dog runners are serious athletes, many holding or pursuing higher degrees while others work full time elsewhere but with a flexible schedule. All our runners truly care for animals. This is a part-time opportunity and is ideal for those seeking a supplemental income.

We are looking for candidates that are available weekly on the same days and same time block each week.

LOWER TAXES

All our team members are W2 employees. Unlike other contractor based platforms such as Rover & Wag, taxes on your earnings are at a lower rate since Denver Dog Joggers pays an employer portion.

WE PAY MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT

We reimburse our team members for mileage traveled between client homes. The reimbursement rate is set at the federal rate.

24/7 Online Scheduling

With our powerful and user-friendly online scheduling platform you will know where to be at what time. Our platform is compatible on mobile & desktop devices.

CONSISTENT WORK

Over 90% of our clients are on a weekly recurring schedule. This means that your schedule & earnings will have a high degree of predictability. We hire just enough team members to meet our needs. This avoids situations where we have team members that have to compete for work.

Training

Safety of our team members and our canine clients is a priority. We provide thorough online and in-person training that is based on over 10 years of experience and hundreds of thousands of miles with dogs by our sides.

WE PROVIDE GEAR

We supply our team members with the gear needed that helps ensure a successful & most importantly safe session.

WE SCREEN CLIENTS FOR YOU

We screen our clients. DDJ Trial Run Consultants personally interview our human clients to make sure we can meet their needs. This allows you to get down to the business of spending time with pups, you know the fun part.

FRIENDLY Support

Our team of dog walkers & dog runners are supported by the DDJ office staff to ensure things run smoothly, So, you can get on with enjoying the fresh Colorado air with our canine clients.

What Our Team Has to Say

Are you a good match?

Interested runners must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for an interview:

Live within or at most 5 miles outside our service area: Service Area Map
Comfortable with dogs of all sizes (able to handle two large dogs at once)
Be able to run dogs and have a good time
Able to run a minimum of two 3 mile sessions daily (marathon, triathlon, track team experience a plus!)
Must currently be able to run at least a 8-10 min/mile pace
Willing to walk some of our older dogs and younger puppies
Must currently be injury free
Weather resilient (Snow, rain, 0 deg F, summer, etc.)
Hold U.S. citizenship or legal working documents
Able to commit to one or more of the following time blocks Monday through Friday:

- 8:00 am - 11:00 am
- 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to clients
Own a smartphone with a data plan
Must be able to run, walk, jump, grasp and lift arms above shoulder height

COMPENSATION

$17 per 2 - 2.5 mile running session + TIPS

$23 per 4 - 4.5 mile running session + TIPS

$29 per 6 - 6.5 mile running session + TIPS

+ Federal rate/mile vehicle travel reimbursement

+ Uniform Upgrade Compensation (running shoes, pants, shorts, gloves etc)

+ 401K With 3.5% Employer Match
