Step 1: Please Read Carefully

Denver Dog Joggers is unable to offer Overnight Dog Sitting since minimum wage laws would make the service unreasonably expensive. As a courtesy to DDJ clients, the referrals listed here are either DDJ employees that pet sit independently from DDJ or are people we know that are impeccable care givers. We do not provide training for overnight dog sitting nor are we involved in the scheduling or payment for the overnight visits. DDJ does NOT take a percentage from the independent sitter's earnings.

We will send your request to the sitters you are interested in.
Available sitters will reach out to you within a couple of days.

Important Note: A one time $3,500 fee will be charged to the Client (you) if the Client hires Sitters on this page for services we already offer (dog walking that exceeds 0.5 mile, dog hiking and dog running).

There is no fee when using the Sitter for 24-hour dog sitting or overnight stays.

Denver Dog Joggers is happy to provide the 0.5 mile+ outings and the overnight stays with your dog’s regular scheduled runs/walk.

Stay At Client's Rate:

16 Hour Stay At Client's Home : $140 + $20 for additonal pets

20 Hours Stay At Client's Home: $ 240 + $20 for additonal pets

Insurance: Covered by Denver Dog Joggers Insurance Policy

Since 2010, I've had the joy of caring for dogs, and as the owner of Denver Dog Joggers, I'm passionate about providing a true home-away-from-home experience for your furry family members. When your canine companion stays with us, they're welcomed as a guest into our family and treated with the same love and attention we give our own dogs.

Our home offers a comfortable, relaxed, and secure environment, featuring a doggy door for easy access to the outdoors, a spacious, safely fenced lawned backyard, and beautiful mountain views for a serene and calming atmosphere. We believe in creating a harmonious and safe environment for all our guests. To ensure the comfort and well-being of every dog, we require that visiting dogs are:

Fully house-trained
Well-behaved around children
Kid-friendly
Dog-friendly
Unable to jump over a 5.8 ft fence

Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a dedicated pet care professional with a true passion for dogs and years of hands-on experience. I’ve been proudly working for Denver Dog since February 2025, where I’ve done everything from outdoor hiking adventures to behind-the-scenes admin work. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of both canine care and the logistics that go into providing top-notch service.

I am usually completely free on weekends and work from home M-W, so I have the unique opportunity to be fully present for your pup most days. I generally prefer overnight stays in your home, as this helps your pup keep their usual routine and remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I live with my own energetic Heeler-Husky mix who keeps me on my toes and constantly inspired, and I understand the energy, love, and patience our canine companions need and deserve. I provide personalized, one-on-one care by hosting only one dog family at a time, ensuring your pup(s) gets my undivided attention. Whether it's tailored walks, tug-of-war, fetch sessions or snuggles on the couch, your dog will enjoy plenty of fun and individualized care based on their needs. Growing up with Boxers, I've always had a deep love for dogs. After losing my sweet girl to cancer in 2020, I started running with DDJ. Five years later I'm still running and now also serve as a trainer, interviewer, and master scheduler.

Hello! I would be truly honored to watch your pup while ensuring their safety and providing them with the love and attention that they would expect in their own home. Although I do lots of hikes, runs and walks with pups through DD, it's just not enough! With the recent passing of my black lab, I am even more eager to snuggle up and spend quality time with your pup.

While my fenced-in yard is large and spacious; my home is rather small. Consequently, I keep the number of pups that I watch to a minimum, no more than 3.

I am happy to provide a complimentary "meet up" with you and your pup at your house or mine for a chance for all of us to meet and to quell any apprehension you may have in leaving your pup with me while you are away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
